Susan painfully shares her life story with one of the YouTubers, whereby her husband nearly killed her by beating her to death simply because she was pregnant, and he didn’t want another child. Susan and her husband worked together in a horticulture company, and that was the beginning of their love affair. She goes on to say that since she didn’t come from a well-up family, she decided to get married and live a different life after the man proposed later on.
All went well until she got pregnant with their first child and her husband changed drastically. He would come home drunk and give her a heavy beating. Susan says that she endured all since she had decided to make the marriage work no matter what. The beatings continued for a while until when she got her second baby and what her husband told her left her speechless and worried.
When she was in the maternity bed after delivering their baby, her husband came and warned her not to have another child since the budget would be so high, and he couldn’t afford it. He went ahead to threaten her that he would kill both her and the baby if he found out that she was pregnant again.
She later went and put a family planning method which was to last for five years. According to her, she didn’t want to go against her husband’s wish and had to do anything he asked of her. After a while, she became sickly and decided to go for checkup. After several tests including blood pressure, the results that came out left her shocked and speechless.
Doctors confirmed that she was two months pregnant. She became perplexed, her husband’s words ringing in her head now and then. She went home and after dinner broke the news to the husband, who became outraged. He asked who was in charge of the house since it seems she didn’t hear what he had said months ago, she states.
The following morning, her husband told her to prepare the kids, as he will be taking them to their grandmother’s place. When he came in the evening, he seemed furious and locked the door with all the locks, which was unlike them at the time, Susan says. Seeing that, she became worried.
The husband came on her and strangled her, applying glue on her mouth so that she couldn’t scream. He gave her a thorough beating, to an extent of kicking her private parts so that she would miscarry. He later took a gigantic stick and began beating her mercilessly. She was bleeding profusely and had swells everywhere. According to her, she couldn’t remember when he stopped beating her because she woke up in the morning and found out he wasn’t there.
She reached out for the door and called for help, whereby the neighbors heard her and two of them offered to take her to the hospital. She was told to bring a police statement before treatment, which she did, and also wrote a statement against her husband. After several days of treatment, she went back home and has never set eyes on her husband ever again. Luckily, the baby survived and time came, and she gave birth to a bouncing baby girl.
Her mother-in-law disowned them since she had pressed charges on his son. She has no one to rely on, since she claims that her mother has many problems and doesn’t want to bother her with hers.
