The outrage comes amid the blockage of several SIM cards few days ago by the mobile network operators.
Speaking, the police public relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, condemned the vandalism of the MTN office in the FESTAC area of Lagos state on Monday.
In response to a viral video showing the vandalism, Hundeyin stated, “This should not be the way to go!”
Recall some Nigerians had cried out on social media that their SIM cards have been barred from either making calls or receiving calls as the MNOs worked towards barring all unregistered SIM cards ahead of the July 31 deadline given by the National Communications Commission (NCC).
