Faye has shown that he is prepared and capable of meeting Flick’s requirements. The German manager prefers his centre-backs to be quick, enabling a high-pressing game with a forward-pushed back line. Faye fits these tactical needs and possesses considerable physical strength.
Will Faye play under Flick?
Faye’s potential role in Flick’s plans could mean that any transfer plans for him will be delayed at least until January. Besides his performance, Araujo’s injury, which will keep him out for several months, is another crucial factor in Faye’s continued presence.
