My name is John, and I am from Lagos. I graduated two years ago. Because of the job situation in Nigeria, I decided to try somewhere else, and the only place I could afford to go was Ghana. My friend, who has been living in Ghana for the past two years, suggested I join him. When he came back home, he brought rice for himself and bought some for me too. Three days later, we were near the place, and he reminded me that we could go there since it was just five minutes away. I was very happy because I was looking forward to eating the rice again.
When we got there, the place was crowded, and the restaurant was not even that fancy. I was surprised and asked my friend what was going on. He told me that the woman makes the best Nigerian food, including Igbo food and delicacies. As we ordered, I noticed a woman who looked exactly like my uncle’s wife who died in 2010. I asked one of the girls to go inside and call her for me, but she came back saying she did not see anyone. They told me there was no backyard door, only the front door, and that she disappeared immediately after I recognized her. The people there were not scared, which surprised me.
