BREAKING: Man who attempted assasination on Trump had bomb materials in his car, residence – US security

“There were explosives, including an IED, found inside a car driven by Thomas Matthew Crooks found parked near the scene of the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania,” sources said.

The sources could not specify the number or type of explosives found but emphasized that multiple devices were discovered.

Law enforcement also uncovered bomb-making materials in Crooks’ house.

Crooks fired several shots, grazing Trump by his ears, but the US Secret Service responded immediately and killed him.

The 20-year-old was said to have used an AR-style weapon.

Trump narrowly avoided an assassination attempt at a political rally on Saturday, July 13, prompting security agencies to search for information on how a gunman managed to target a former American leader.

Wearing a white shirt, dark blazer, and a bright red MAGA cap, Trump was speaking out against illegal immigration when gunshots were heard in the evening.

“Take a look at what happened,” he said, his words cut off by four shots in quick succession.

Trump clutched his right ear as repeated shouts of “Get down!” echoed, just before the fifth and sixth shots were fired.

The former president ducked behind the lectern as Secret Service agents quickly surrounded him. Screams filled the crowd.

Within four seconds, more shots were fired, causing additional supporters to drop to the ground while more agents rushed to the stage.

Seventeen seconds after the initial shots, a final pop was heard, followed by a woman’s scream.

Three heavily armed security personnel moved onto the stage 22 seconds after the shooting began.

Secret Service agents quickly shared instructions like “We’re clear” and “Let’s move” before they helped a disheveled Trump to his feet.

About a minute after the gunfire began, Trump reappeared and said, “Let me get my shoes,” as agents formed a protective ring around him.

Thirteen seconds later, Trump raised his fist to the crowd, which responded with cheers.

As the former leader was escorted off the stage, holding his MAGA cap, onlookers chanted, “USA!”

Trump paused briefly to pump his fist in the air before stepping off the stage.

Just before disappearing into an SUV, and only two minutes after the assassination attempt began, Trump raised his fist once more and briefly turned toward the crowd.
