Prof. kalu who was the keynote speaker at the 13th induction and oath- taking ceremony of the 2022/2023 graduands of the faculty of Pharmaceutical sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka , named other factors to include concerted effort by all stakeholders to restore trust in public and private institutions.

kalu who spoke on the theme;”the brain drain and young nigerian graduates: immediate challenges and long term implications” revealed that optimal migration of skills from one country to another is not bad but however explained that it becomes a troubling phenomenon when it is threatening the effectiveness and efficiency of critical institutions of the state.

He advised the graduates to abide by the oath as well as begin to conduct research and invest in home grown submissions to tackle emerging health challenges.

Earlier in his address, the acting vice chancellor Nnamdi Azikiwe University prof. Carol Ariane Umobi represented by Prof. fedrick Odibo congratulated the graduands, adding that the day marks the realisation of their long held dreams and enjoined them to see the oath and induction lecture as important and should not be submerged to the conviviality of the events

In her opening remarks, the chairman of the occasion, Lady Ada Chukwudozie thanked God for making the day a reality and prayed to God to bless and grant all those who found time to grace the occasion journey mercies.
