According to a report by Leadership, Obasanjo immediately proceeded to the hilltop home of former Military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB).
Sources indicate that Obasanjo’s arrival in Minna occurred around 4:15 p.m., following a flight from Benin City, where he had attended the 90th birthday celebration of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom.
At General Babangida’s residence, Obasanjo was joined by another ex-Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, and former National Security Adviser, General Aliyu Gusau. Further details are expected soon.
