Oluyede stated this at the weekend in his home town, Ikere Ekiti, at an event where PDP stakeholders gathered to consult him to join the party.
He said he accepted the invitation to join the PDP after the party came to woo him, regretting that Ekiti has been clouded with darkness and that the PDP will restore light to the state. He said: “It is time to stop bad governance in Ekiti and build Ekiti.
The people that came here today have only asked me to join the party. I have not declared to run for the governorship position. I have challenged the PDP to go back and build the party.”
