The former Edo state governor who represents Edo North in the 10th Assembly, made the remark while reacting to Mrs Obaseki’s comment that PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo is the only gubernatorial candidate who has a wife.
During her speech at the PDP’s campaign flag-off at the Ubiaja Township Stadium in Esan South-East Local Government Area, Mrs Obaseki introduced Ifeyinwa Ighodalo to the crowd, emphasising the importance of having a woman in the Government House.
Reacting to the comment on Saturday, Oshiomhole said that Mrs Obaseki is not in a position to remark on other people’s marital status given that she and her husband do not have any kids. Read here.
In a post shared on Instagram this morning, Momodu said he was ‘’shocked and mortified” by Oshiomole’s comment and prayed that he finds the courage to apologise publicly to the Obaseki as being childless is not a crime.
