When the passengers expressed their displeasure over the driver’s actions, Nonso allegedly responded with a chilling threat, stating that he would k!ll anyone who dared to report him to GUO management. This led to growing fear and tension among the passengers as the journey dragged on.

The situation deteriorated further when the bus finally reached Owerri at 1:00 am, far behind schedule. Exhausted and frustrated, the passengers were then asked to disembark as the driver decided to end the trip prematurely. He locked the bus and left the passengers stranded outside in the middle of the night.

Despite having paid N32,000 for the bus trip, the passengers were informed that they would not receive any refund. Instead, they were told to board a local bus to complete their journey to Aba, as they won’t be getting a refund.
