With the Edo State governorship election just weeks away, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is grappling with internal turmoil as reports emerge that Asue Ighodalo, the party’s governorship candidate, and the outgoing governor Godwin Obaseki has continued to engage in serious arguments which led to Asue calling Obaseki “Bad Head”. According to sources close to Obaseki, Asue told him (Obaseki), he is the reason he will lose because everywhere he goes, the people keep pointing fingers on Obaseki, calling him a serial betrayal, casting doubt on the party’s chances of success in the September 21, 2024 election.
