In a statement released in Lokoja by the group’s president, Adams Abu-Suberu, and its secretary, Mr. Clement Adabara, they lauded Bello as the “winner of the golden boot” and expressed their joy at the outcome.

The group commended Bello for his significant contributions, particularly his efforts to eliminate the class system in Kogi State, which has empowered all ethnic communities within the state.

They expressed their gratitude for the historic achievement of having two Ebira sons serve as governors of Kogi State, highlighting Bello’s dedication to uplifting the ethnic pride of his people.

In recognition of his efforts, they bestowed upon Bello the prestigious Otase title, symbolizing the foremost warrior of the Ebira people. They praised his leadership for ensuring that Kogi State now has a compassionate and people-oriented governor in Ododo.

The group also dismissed any allegations of corruption against Bello as baseless, asserting that the victory of Governor Ododo in the last governorship election, coupled with the Supreme Court’s affirmation, is a clear reflection of Bello’s accomplishments and the widespread approval he enjoys among the people of Kogi.
