Musiliu Akinsanya, the former Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) is back on the lips of many – on the streets.
His failed relationship with estranged ally Ayinde Oyedepo – popularly known as Koko Zaria- has worsened.
MC Oluomo, as he is famously known, is back on lips on the waves of the new ruptures in the embittered break-up with Koko Zaria.
” The former Lagos NURTW Chairman supporters have began a groundswell attack on Koko Zaria across social media platforms. And they are leveraging abusive songs hurled at Zaria by musicians at events MC Oluomo attends” according to those in the know.
Videos of such social outings are being shared with words like “betrayer”, “hypocrite ” and related describers rained on Koko Zaria here and there.
The trouble between MC Oluomo and Koko Zaria started, when the latter sensationally switch allegiance to new NURTW Chairman Mustapha Adekunle better known as “Seego” or “Tafa Seego”.
MC Oluomo was reluctant in handing over to Seego who, like Koko Zaria, is a long term ally but at a higher level.
MC Oluomo, unlike Seego, is from the same base like Koko Zaria – Oshodi.
Seego who took over in February 2024, after a testy spell, is from Lagos Island.
“It is widely held that, in Oshodi there was no transport unionist close to MC Oluomo as Koko Zaria. That is what makes his switch of allegiance to Seego particularly galling” according to those in the know.
Koko Zaria, who also thrives in social media controversy, as been hitting back -but with a far cry of an effort, compared to those pushing MC Oluomo’s case.
