JUST IN: Lagos State Government Announces Traffic Diversion In Island

The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion plan on Sura Ramp inward Osborne to facilitate the asphaltic laying of the section of the road....READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE ▶▶

The repair work is scheduled for Wednesday, 21st August, 2024 between 10.00 pm and 4.00 am and on Thursday, 22nd August, 2024.

“To manage the traffic inflow to the affected section during the repair works, Motorists from the Third Mainland Bridge will not be able to turn right to access Osborne, they will move straight to Obalende or Onikan to continue with their journeys.

“Similarly, Motorists from Sura will not be able to access the ramp, they will turn right to connect Onikan and continue their journeys.

“Motorists are implored to be patient as the diversion is part of the traffic management plans for the ongoing rehabilitation works and asphalt pavement of the road section.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation,” a statement by the State Government reads.
