Okoh assertively argued that Kalu, as a dedicated APC member, has the inherent right to canvass for his party, particularly given the APC’s control of the central government. This, Okoh believes, positions Abia State to reap significant advantages from Kalu’s tireless efforts.
In response to criticism from Dr. Osita Offor, aka “Ultimate Commander,” Okoh pointed out that Offor lacks the necessary vote base in Abia State to dictate the state’s political trajectory in 2027. Instead, Okoh suggested that Offor focus on his United Abia Artists and Patriots (UAAP) group, which Okoh perceives as existing primarily for political gain.
Furthermore, Okoh cautioned Obi Aguocha, the representative of Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency, against playing to the galleries, pointing out that Aguocha’s success in the 2023 election was largely due to his affiliation with the Labour Party and advised him not to challenge the political realities ahead of 2027.
