of the party. He stated that Fubara’s actions were part of a larger political strategy, akin to the metaphor “a witch cries in the night and a child dies in the morning,” implying a hidden agenda.
He described the state of the APC in Rivers State before he took office, characterizing it as a “Social Club” that was ineffective in contesting elections and lacked
a strong political presence. He however stated that since he took office, he has worked to revitalize the party and his initial six-month tenure has been extended for an additional six months, set to expire on December 5, 2024.

This is a party that was only known for attending Burial Ceremonies and Birthday parties. These are the trappings of a social club and that was what APC Was in Rivers State. Everybody is aware that APC in Rivers State has been in tatters since 2019. So I was given 6 months and the party had written to me that they want to extend my stay for another six months.
