Former Deputy Leader of Warri South Legislative Arm, Hon. Richard Pessu, has been elected Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in Warri South Local Government Area….READ FULL ARTICLE
The election, which held Saturday August 10 at the Warri South PDP Local Government Secretariat in Esisi Road, GRA, Warri, was reportedly witnessed by the Electoral Officer of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Warri South, Mr. Kingsley Ogbegbe, with Price Johnson from Asaba, overseeing the process as Returning Officer.
The immediate past Secretary of the party in the local government, Comrade Festus Otesiri Igherebuo, emerged the Deputy Chairman of PDP in Warri South and Mr. Ukuvwere Dafe, becomes the Secretary.
Other members of the new leadership of Peoples Democratic Party in Warri South Local Government Area, are: Hon. Hesse Isaac Edah – Treasurer, Mr. Christopher Agbajoh – Assistant Secretary, Mr. Ayiwe Glory – Financial Secretary, Mr. Emiko Oghomienor – Publicity Secretary, Urogho Charles – Assistant Publicity Secretary, Eminokanju Tega – Organizing Secretary, Yomere Grace – Women Leader , Iriferi Friday – youth leader, Egbiaye Blessing – Auditor and Otome Atiri – Legal Adviser.
Five ex – officio members, including Buwaghan R. Dere and Lawrence Akpoveso, will also serve the party at the local government level.
