Effiong criticized the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, for opposing the protests.

He argued that Wike’s position against allowing protests in Abuja would likely incite more people to participate.

Wike is sponsoring the protest by coming out to say that people can’t protest, you are instigating people to come out.
