He expressed confidence that the government is receptive to public concerns and emphasized the

importance of continued attentive governance. He advocated for the government not only to listen but also to implement policy solutions that address the needs of Nigerians. He acknowledged the significant challenges facing Nigerians, which he has consistently highlighted in legislative debates. He however stated that despite these challenges, resorting to extreme measures through protest would only exacerbate existing problems.
He said in an interview with Channels

TV, ”When last did you hear of people saying that this government is a good government all over the world? Government would always have their challenges and loopholes. The Kenyans that have resorted to protest and destroyed shops, has that delivered relief? I think that nobody will benefit from violence and we have had an unfair share of violence in the past in many areas.

But I believe that the government is listening

and I expect that it will continue to listen. And not just listen but to act on the basis of the policy options that are available to deal with the concerns of many Nigerians. If you check even in our debate in the Senate, I have drew attention to the obvious challenges that are confronting Nigerians.
