McTominay is understood to be subject of interest from Galatasaray, but United have already rejected early bids for the Scotland international. Although he is out of contract next year, the club have the option of an additional year.
United have previously turned down a £30million offer from West Ham last year, with the club regarding McTominay as an important squad member with high value. He then embarked on a career-best campaign, netting ten goals and starting in the FA Cup final victory against Manchester City.
Nonetheless, reports from Sky Sports Germany claim that Galatasaray have not yet given up hope on the midfielder and have McTominay as their preferred solution for midfield. It is claimed they are confident that the player would be ‘open to a move.’
Talks have been initiated with United and both clubs remain in contact. It is suggested that United are demanding a fee of £25million (€30m) which is thought to be ‘too much’ for the Turkish giants.
With that said, United have reached personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte. This could potentially edge Casemiro or McTominay towards the exit door.
