Zirkzee joins on a five-year deal but will first enjoy a break following an extended period with his national side as Netherlands reached the semi-final of Euro 2024. United’s ambitions in the market will not end there however. United’s new signing hopes to hit the ground running at Old Trafford and has been persuaded of an exciting future by Erik ten Hag. Zirkzee hopes to hit a new level following his move.

Manchester United’s next move appears to be an exit from the club. Willy Kambwala is set to join Villarreal.
The 19-year-old Frenchman is reported to have completed his medical for the Yellow Submarine on Sunday. The defender is set to sign a five-year deal with the La Liga side.
Kambwala has played 10 times for United’s senior side, including eight times in the Premier League. The clubs have agreed a £8.6m deal.
United are said to hold both buy-back and sell-on clauses for the Congo-born talent. Kambwala is in the final 12 months of his United deal and has rejected his most recent contract offer from the club.
Brentford forward has recently been linked to Manchester United, despite their signing of Zirkzee. The Bees forward has spent the summer with England in their Euro 2024 campaign but is now set to see speculation over his future with just a year remaining on his contract.
The Mail suggest that United see a move for Toney as ‘unrealistic’ but they could be persuaded otherwise. If they significant departures from their forward line, that stance could change however.
