The former OB Odense hitman has now scored 10 goals in all competitions this season for his club, seven in the league and three in cup games.

Utaka has previously played for Vejle Boldklub, OB Odense (both in Denmark), Westerlo, Royal Antwerp (both in Belgium), Dalian Aerbin, Beijing Guoan (both in China), Shanghai Shenxin, Shimizu S-Pulse, Sanfrecce Hiroshima, FC Tokyo, Tokushina Vortis and Kyoto Sanga (all in Japan).
