Unaware of the full extent of the opposition’s actions, which included both military officers and civilians, Pastor Ibiyeomie and his congregation turned to prayer. “When we came together to pray, they transferred the military officer to Kwara State,” he revealed. Miraculously, within a week, all those who had conspired against the church were transferred to other locations.

According to him, “At the beginning of our ministry, a time came when our neighbors in the headquarter gang up against us. They said this church must leave this place. They were going from house to house to sign. They took the matter to the governor of that time in Port Harcourt. But the governor turned down their proposal. He told them that they should be happy for a church like this to be sited in the location.”
