Reacting to the call by the House of Representative to prosecute her, Sunnberger said that she can’t be deported. She downplayed the likelihood of being arrested or deported.
In a viral video clip circulating online, Sunnberger confidently asserted her Canadian citizenship as a shield, saying, “Canada’s legal system is unlike Nigeria’s, where arrests can be made without questioning.”
Sunnberger faces accusations of inciting violence and genocide against Yoruba and Benin people, prompting the Nigerian House of Representatives to urge the Canadian government to take action.
However, she remains defiant, citing her Canadian citizenship as protection.

It would be recalled that Sunnberger had in a video clip that surfaced on Tuesday, threatened Yoruba and Benin people during a virtual meeting on TikTok.
The House of Representatives has written to the Canadian government, urging it to investigate and prosecute Sunnberger for her inciting comments, which it said violate international and Canadian laws.
