According to PREMIUM TIMES News, In a recent poll conducted by local media outlets, it was found that a majority of Nigerians are in favor of a minimum wage of over N100,000. The poll, which surveyed over 10,000 people, asked participants about their thoughts on the current minimum wage of N30,000 and whether they believed it was enough to cover their basic living expenses.

The results showed that 70% of those surveyed believed that the minimum wage of N30,000 was not sufficient to support themselves and their families. Many cited the rising cost of living, including the price of food, rent, and other basic necessities, as reasons for their dissatisfaction with the current wage.
