They Want Nnamdi Kanu To Remain Perpetually In Detention So They Could Fester Their Trade -Ohaneze


The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, a prominent Igbo socio-cultural organization, has condemned the recent killing of five soldiers at a military checkpoint in Aba, Abia State. This tragic event, reportedly carried out by gunmen enforcing the May 30 sit-at-home order, has drawn widespread condemnation.

In a press statement, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, the National President of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, expressed deep dismay over the incident, calling it barbaric and contrary to Igbo values. He emphasized that the Igbo people hold human life in high regard and mourned the loss of the soldiers, extending condolences to their families and the Nigerian Army.

Nnabuike highlighted that such acts of violence are not representative of the true Biafra agitators but are instead the work of infiltrators exploiting the movement for personal gain. He asserted, “The events that unfolded in Aba on Thursday, along with similar occurrences in the past, serve as glaring indications that infiltrators have infiltrated the Biafra struggle.”

He further noted that these criminal elements aim to keep Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader, in perpetual detention to continue their destructive activities under the guise of Biafra agitation.
