He asked Governor Bello to assume accountability by willingly turning himself in to the EFCC and answering their questions.

In the past, Akande mentioned others who voluntarily collaborated with the EFCC without waiting for an official invitation, such as former Governor Fayose. He also mentioned the trials that the EFCC had held for over 20 governors.
