BREAKING: Donald Trump Finally Deletes Social Media Post From Website After Gag Order

Donald Trump has deleted a social media post from his website that a New York judge ordered to be removed when he issued a partial gag order against the former president.

Judge Arthur Engoron, who is overseeing the $250 million civil trial in which the former president is accused of fraudulently inflating the value of his properties in financial statements, told Trump to delete a “disparaging” and “untrue” Truth Social post he made about a member of the judge’s staff on October 3.….CONTINUE READING

Majority Leader Chuck Schumer

while falsely claiming she was the Democrat’s girlfriend. “How disgraceful! This case should be dismissed immediately!!” Trump added.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing in connection with New York Attorney General Letitia James’ $250 million lawsuit against him, and has frequently claimed the case is a politically motivated “witch hunt.”

The Truth Social post was deleted soon after Engoron ordered it to be taken down. The judge also noted that it had also been “mailed out to millions of others” via Trump’s team.

A version of the post remained on the former president’s website until Thursday evening, meaning Trump was at risk of violating his gag order, the Daily Beast and the Meidas Touch Network reported.

A link to the page that showed a screenshot of the Truth Social post now takes users to a 404 page, with the Meidas Touch website linking out to an archived version

of the page.

Trump’s legal team has been contacted for comment via email.

While issuing the partial gag order,

Engoron warned that anyone involved in the $250 million lawsuit who was found publicly speaking about court staff members would face “serious” sanctions.

“Personal attacks on members of my court staff are unacceptable, inappropriate and I will not tolerate them in any circumstances,” Engoron said.

In a statement at the time, Schumer’s spokeswoman Allison Biasotti called Trump’s social media post “pathetic,” “ridiculous, absurd and false,” adding that the New York Senator doesn’t even personally know Greenfield.

“As is well known, Senator Schumer attends countless events in every corner of the state where tens of thousands of constituents take photos with him, just like this one, which was taken at a stop at an annual brunch in Manhattan,” Biasotti said.

Trump was also recently issued with a partial gag order

by a federal judge overseeing the trial involving his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

Judge Tanya Chutkan

imposed a narrow gag order on October 16 to prevent the former president potentially tainting a jury pool with his frequent attacks on the judge, Special Counsel Jack Smith

, or potential witnesses.

Trump vowed he would appeal the gag order

, while also attacking the criminal investigation, in which he has pleaded not guilty to four charges, as a “witch hunt.”….CONTINUE READING
