“We followed the extensive judgment that lasted for about 11 hours and it was elaborate.

“The Justices of the Court of Appeal made exclusive explanations and detailed ruling on the matter,” said the National Publicity Secretary of PANDEF, Ken Robinson.

I have also read the response by both Obi and Atiku, vowing to appeal the judgement. It is absolutely within their rights to pursue their cases all the way to the Supreme Court, particularly if they have the resources to spare. That is the beauty of democracy. Anyone who is aggrieved can seek redress in court. The only difference, is that they are totally hopeless cases and anyone who wants to be true to self knew this from the onset.

What Obi and Atiku should actually be doing now is having a sit-down with their lawyers to demand a refund. Unconfirmed reports said that billions of naira were invested into that exercise in legal futility. The only way, I believe, that those very senior lawyers could be excused from this is if they had told their clients ab initio that they were bad cases, but the clients insisted on going ahead.
