Former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon Najeem Salaam and NIGCOMSAT Executive Director, Marketing and Business Development, Senator Mudasiru Hussein, the Federal Commissioner representing Oṣun State in the National Population Commission (NPC), Hon Muhammad Olatunji Bashir South West National Commissioner, Nigeria Law Reform Commission were among the 26 members suspended for anti party activities while 84 were expelled from the party.

Others are the fomer Acting Chairman of the party, Elder Adelowo Adebiyi, former Party State Secretary Hon Rasak Salensile, Mr Segun Olanibi, Mr Fransis Famurewa, Barrister Gbenga Akano, Eng Salaami Kazeem and host of others.

In a viral video currently trending online, members of the party in jubilation stormed the APC Secretariat in Ejigbo Local Government, the council of Najeem and Hussein to applaud the state leadership of the party for the decision saying the two leaders have done many damages to the party without remorse saying they openly worked against the party governorship candidate, during the last year July 17 Governorship Election, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola and the party presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in February this year.

Addressing the party members at the secretariat, a leader of the party Mr Oyebamiji Isiaka said had the party failed to punished them, it would have become a disaster and bad precedence for the party saying the party had never experienced such open compromise by respected leaders against the party that they have been benefiting from since 1999.

He urged the party members to remain resolute and committed to the ideals of the party and continue the party meetings at all levels in preperation for future election….CONTINUE READING
