The renowned pastor revealed that when God initially informed him about flying, he and his church didn’t endeavor to achieve it through human efforts. He stated: “God told us we are going to fly; if He left us to plan to fly, it won’t enter our budget in the next ten years. We are just changing planes like we change bicycles because His blessings make us rich and add no sorrow. We didn’t confess; we didn’t pray, pray for the plane to do what? They asked me, which kind of plane, and I said any kind. I don’t know the name of any because I wasn’t shopping for it.”

Regarding the Ark Project, Oyedepo clarified that the church had not requested offerings at Canaanland or any of its branches. He emphasized that despite the fluctuations in the dollar-to-naira exchange rate, the project remained unaffected as there was no foreign exchange input from outside Nigeria, yet there was no financial strain on anyone involved.

On the topic of tithing, Bishop Oyedepo stressed that those who faithfully pay their tithes do not experience lack. He highlighted the biblical importance of tithing, using the example of John D.
