Julia Nnebedum, fondly known as Baby Oku Germany, took to social media to share her distress and highlight the prevalence of hurtful assumptions about interracial relationships.
“People can be bad. Where is humanity?” – German woman fumes after troll claims her Nigerian husband married her for ‘Passport’
The incident unfolded when Julia Nnebedum, a mother of two, received a screenshot of a message from an anonymous lady.
The message suggested that her Nigerian husband’s motives for marrying her were driven by a desire to gain access to a German passport.
Deeply hurt by the baseless allegation, she decided to bring the matter to public attention, hoping to shed light on the issue of unfair prejudices faced by interracial couples.
She expressed her disbelief at how some people could harbor such negative assumptions about her marriage, based solely on her nationality and her husband’s background.
