Muslim News gathered that he has since been buried at the Muslim cemetery in the Agege area of Lagos today in accordance to Islamic rite.

Adeyemi was described as a student activist who always aimed for the best in whatever he does. For instance, he had a BA and MSc in English Language from University of Ibadan and was about to defend his PhD dessertation at the Lagos State University, LASU, before he came down with brief illness.

He loved teaching, especially calling people to the path of Islam.

He once taught English Language at Vanguards Academy, Odosengolu, Ogun State as a teacher before he joined The Nation Newspaper in 2007.
