Bishop Kukah began by saying that the President has enormous powers but that the question is, “what do you use those power for.”
He said we have the opportunity now to rebuild our country, and that no matter what happens and how the Supreme Court end, he is convinced that we have put the ugly past behind us.
Bishop Kukah said, President has tremendous power and if a president want to do well, firstly, he must understand his country, he must understand where people are hurting, and also be a man of integrity to understand how to manage differences.
He said when people criticise Supreme Court,
“You ought to understand that sometimes as the saying goes, don’t throw a stone in the market until you are sure your mother didn’t go to market that day. If I have Femi Falana in the supreme court, Olisa Agbakoba, Mike Ozekhome in the Supreme Court, I can go to sleep.
