The police command added that its officers who went to the scene strongly warned those involved in the skit not to do such again as the scene caused traffic snarl.
The social media was awash on Saturday with the video of a bride whose vehicle was blocked by a man at the Sango-Eleyele area of Ibadan when she was supposedly going to church for her wedding ceremony.
According to the narrative of the video, the lady had promised two men marriage. She however decided to tie the knot with one of them on Saturday while the second man later heard about the event.
So on Saturday, the wedding day, while the lady was on her way to the church, the second man blocked her vehicle on the road, preventing her from going to the church, while also causing gridlock on the road.
However, reacting to the video on Sunday, the state police command disclosed on its Twitter handle that information received indicated that the scene was a skit, warning those involved not to do such again as the situation caused some discomfort to road users in the area.Continue Reading…
