The Deputy Chief Whip and Member representing Enugu South Rural Constituency at the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Mrs. Princess Obiajulu Ugwu has promised not to discriminate against any of her constituents.

The lawmaker vowed not to discriminate against any of her constituents, even if they are not in same political party, and emphasized that she is not just for Labour Party (LP) but for everyone in the Enugu South Rural.

While noting that those who voted for her in the last election were across the party line, the deputy chief whip pledged to reward their electoral support with quality and sound representation at the State Assembly.

She pointed out that the constituency would serve as a melting pot, where the opinions and challenges of her constituents would be collected, analysed, and harmonised for immediate legislative action.

The lawmaker gave the assurance that she would have functional constituency offices in all the political wards she represents and well-trained staff members, who will relate and attend to the people always.

The deputy chief whip asked her constituents not to shy away from bringing in their complain, opinions, and criticism to the office, pledging to go through the submissions from time to time.

She reinstated her commitment and desire to improve and impact her constituents positively by sponsoring bills and motions that would direct bearing on them.

The high point of the event was a cash gift of N100, 000 to the deceased family of a member of ward 1, Mrs. Ngozi Egbo, with the promised to take care of Mrs Egbo’s children.
